Rolaa Mohammed Saeed Shalail

Rolaa lives in a family of 6, 4 of whom are students in school. Her home in Yebnaa Camp consists of 2 rooms.

Her father had been killed by Israeli tanks when they attacked their camp, and she says that after her father was killed they no longer had a breadwinner to take
care of her and her brother. She says she does not understand why they killed her father even though he did not do anything.

Rola wants to be a lawyer when she grows up, but she says that for now, she needs her father.


Nahlaa Mohmed Ebrahem Al Najaar
Age Age 7 years
Social Condition:

Father: unemployed.
Family’s members: 11


Nahlaa lives in a family of 11 members, 4 of
whom are students. The others do not have the ability to pay money for a university education, so they are no longer studying.
They all live iin Rafah camp.

Nahlaa’s father is handicapped, and is unable to save money for his children. This family needs urgent help, because none of them work nor earn money.


Nahalaa wants to be a teacher when she grows up.


Husein Ahmed Hafez Abu Al Kheer
Age Age 10 years
Social Condition:

Family’s members: 7 members
Father: unemployed


Husein lives in Rafah, Yebna Camp. Four of his brothers and sisters are students in school, and one was injured in his leg five years ago.
The father is unable to get food for
his family, nor rent a home because in the next two or tree weeks they were told by UNRWA officials that Israeli tanks will destroy their house.

Hussein want to be a headmaster when he grows up, and he want to live in a
safe place.


Abed Al kader Majed Abed Al kader Abu Maroof
Age Age 4 years
Social Condition: Father: unemployed
Family members: 12 members

Abed Al Kader lives in a house near the border line in
Rafah camp. Seven of his brothers and sisters are
student in schools. Abdel Kader has nightmares about shooting and says he is very afraid of it. He keeps urging his father to leave the area and his father has no answer for him.



Bedoor Abed Alrhman Ghonem
Age Age 11 years
Social Condition:

Family members: 6 members


Bedoor lives in the Rafah camp, and four of her sisters and brothers are students. Israeli tanks demolished their house three weeks ago, and they are now living in a tent in Rafah camp. Bedoor has never seen her father because her father disappeared and the family does not know if he is alive or not.
One of her sisters [12 years old] does not hear or speak.
Bedoor wishes to live in a house like the other children, and she want to be a teacher in the future..


Nedal Ahmed Fkhry Abu Al Roos
Age Age 2 years old
Social Condition:

Orphan
Family members: 4 members


Nedal lives in Rafah camp - Yebnaa - which is an area near the border with Egypt. Nedal's father killed YESTERDAY [December 10th, 2002] and now the mother does not know what to do.
